Student progress Champion

A 'GOOD' Stoke-on-Trent Secondary school are looking to appoint a Student progress champion.

The role would be to start as soon as possible working 37 hours a week term time only. It would initially be up until Christmas, however for the right candidate it may progress into a permanent position.

You would be working in a large busy environment, surrounded by experienced senior leadership meaning that you would be well supported. The facilities are modern and there is onsite parking available.

The school are ideally looking for someone that has worked in a school setting and has a good understanding of data analysis.

You would be looking at the data of student performance to identify under achievement, including providing support to students in the classroom. You would also be expected to support the exams officer in the running of all examinations and with organising cover for absent staff.

Essential
• Experience working to support students on a one-to-one or small group basis.
• Ability to communicate well in all aspects with staff
• Work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines
• Ability to be analytical and to use initiative and be keen to learn new systems and procedures

Desirable
• Knowledge and experience of school management systems would be ideal but training for the right candidate would be provided.
• Experience of working in a school
• Experience as a data analyst
