Southern Water is currently looking for a Senior ICA Technician to join the team in Otterbourne.
Your main duties will be to maintain, repair, diagnose, modify and install Instrumentation systems including flow , level, pressure, temperature and numerous bio/chemical parameters and to maintain , repair modify and install local and remote control systems including telemetry, radio, programmable logic controllers and computer based scada systems. You will be responsible for mentoring ICA Technician and ICA Support Technicians ensuring they provide support and guidance to less experienced and qualified technicians.
Successful candidate will have a significant experience post apprenticeship, understanding of water supply and waste water processes and will be able to assist with fault finding on a variety of Integrated control systems. Successful candidate must also have good communication skills both written and verbal; must be able to coach, mentor and help others with personal development.
You must have a full clean UK driving license as you will be provided with a company van and be prepared to work to a company rota (may include weekends).
