Relief Chef Manager- £25-£26k

Servest are recruiting for a Relief Chef Manager based in the Kent Area to support the onsite managers and operational team.

This role is supporting the Kent/Sussex/Hants and Surrey Area

As a Relief Chef Manager you will be covering units with no manager or assisting the manager that is in place- covering cooking to finances, ordering to client meetings, staff training to audits the position is varied across our network of clients. There are numerous sites split over the area but being based near Kent would be advantageous. The sites are mainly open Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend functions. As the Relief Chef Manager when working across the sites you will be required to managing the teams of front and back of house staff as well as cooking on a daily basis and making sure the unit runs smoothly. You will report into the Group Operations Manager and be part of the support network for the sites.

We are looking for Chef Managers with the following-

A background within Business and Industry Catering

Experience in managing a team of at least 5

Ideally experience in a unit which services an onsite capacity of around 200-300

Quality cooking standards whilst being conscious of the set budgets

The ability to lead by example and build a team

A strong craft background

Superb customer service skills

Financial awareness with the ability to manage budgetary lines

Due to the nature of the role you will need access to your own vehicle and a full uk driving licence- we will pay mileage between sites- This role is not based at a fixed site so you must be prepared to travel within the area with locations maybe changing on a daily / weekly basis.
