Job Title: HR Assistant / Administrator

Location: Gateshead Tyne & Wear NE11

Salary: £17000 per annum

Type: Temporary - to cover up to a 12 month maternity absence

Our client is a busy and expanding HR and employment law outsourcing business and they are currently looking to add to their professional and dedicated team. The company currently have an opportunity for an HR assistant / administrator at the head office in Gateshead Tyne & Wear, to cover a maternity absence, of up to 12 months.

Job Role:

This is a customer-focused role, which involves preparing HR documentation for a wide variety of clients across a broad range of business industries, on behalf of a central HR team. You will also be required to contribute to HR projects. Key duties will include:-

  • Providing administrative support to the HR team
  • Maintaining the client database
  • Preparing and issuing contracts and handbooks to clients
  • Preparing a range of HR documentation, to support the central HR team

The Candidate:

The company are looking for a highly personable and diligent HR Assistant. A working knowledge of HR administration, contracts, policies and procedures is necessary in order to provide full and effective support to the HR team.

  • You must have previous experience of HR administration.
  • Candidates, ideally should have a relevant degree and be CIPD qualified or studying towards membership or equivalent.

This is an ideal opportunity for a junior HR professional to expand their knowledge and gain valuable experience in a fast paced environment, where exposure will be given to a wide variety of HR and ER topics. Full training will be provided in a very supportive and team focused environment.
