Operations Manager
We are looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for the smooth running of our non-clinical day to day operations of our Practice, ensuring that we provide an unbeatable service in a convenient and accessible environment.
We are a medium sized Practice based in Bedminster, of 5 Partners and 2 salaried GPs, with a strong team of dedicated and long serving support staff and a patient list size currently in the region of 8,200. We are a friendly democratic practice that has been committed to providing excellent care to the local community since the 1980's, so have a strong emphasis on patient-centred care as well as team work. We consistently deliver a high QOF achievement.
Reporting into the Practice Manager who covers two sites, the successful candidate will be enthusiastic about healthcare, with the ability to lead people and engage positively with our patients. They will need to be solutions focussed and able to use their initiative to resolve any problems that might occur as well as being able to spot opportunities to improve our services for the better. They will be able to manage multiple projects, remain calm under pressure and possess strong numeracy and IT skills.
This full time position (37.5 hours a week) has a salary of £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience, together with an NHS pension and 25 days holiday increasing with service to 28 days plus Bank Holidays. The successful candidate will enjoy working for a strong community based practice with a committed and long serving team.
