I am recruiting for an assistant payroll manager to join a busy team looking after 4 teams and their staff across multiple sites, if you love a challenge then this will be perfect for you. This is a temporary contract lasting 6 months and are looking for someone to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR functions and Payroll and will preferably hold a professional qualification in HR or Payroll NVQ level 5
Duties involved:-
* Managing the operational service delivery provided by a number of teams responsible for all HR and Payroll functions
* Managing day to day relationships, developing an effective network and building relationships with a number of key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a high quality efficient and effective service
* Guide Staff and managers on technical objectives of payroll policies.
* Setting measurable and documented standards of the working of teams and reviewing their performance, ensuring the appropriate training and development of staff.
* Other additional support to the HR Admin and Payroll service manager.
