The UK National Sales Company (NSC) has responsibility for the sale of vehicles, parts, accessories and merchandise within the United Kingdom, generating turnover in excess of GBP4bn. The UK NSC Finance team is responsible for providing business partnering support for all aspects of UK NSC operations. Working collaboratively, as Senior Analyst you'll be required to build relationships with business partners, utilising these relationships to align stakeholders behind NSC business activities and add value through creation of financial and commercial insight. You will be supported by a graduate; and be expected to appropriately coach, supervise, and delegate work to ensure delivery against tasks. You'll hold a Professional Finance Qualification (ACA / CIMA / ACCA or similar) and have experience of working in a in dynamic, customer-facing organisation. Preferably you'll have gained experience within a commercial environment where decision-making has immediate impact on financial, customer, and business outcomes. You'll also need experience working within a process improvement programme and be open to new ways of thinking. You'll have the desire to challenge and to deliver with urgency, with the ability to communicate with senior figures within the business. You'll need a knowledge of key accounting policies and standards, Business Plan, Budget and Forecast preparation experience. You'll be familiar with month end process (journals, reconciliations and variance analysis) and have knowledge of retail facing operations in same or related industry. Marketing business knowledge would be desirable.
