An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join us at our office in Coatbridge.
Within this role, you will provide the full range of quantity surveying services, including contract compilation, target cost setting, completion of CVR’S, interim valuations, final accounts, cost monitoring and claims for your contracts and overseeing the similar tasks of your team.
Effectively managing all aspects of the CVR process including certification and ensuring efficient income recovery, you will contribute to teamwork working with clients and subcontractors building on trust, honesty and building in support mechanisms to support colleagues in their tasks.
You will undertake all pre and post contract quantity surveying duties in the pricing of building works and allied services and the production of tender documentation/schedules of works and any other contract documentation required for the procurement of such works.
In order to be successful in this role, you will be qualified at BSc level in Quantity Surveying or similar coupled with experience in a similar role. With thorough knowledge of building construction, types of contract and quantity surveying procedures you should also have experience in the Social Housing Sector.
In addition, you should also have experience of managing building contracts and projects along with experience in the financial management of contracts.
This position comes with a car as standard.
Candidates for this role must hold a full UK driving licence
