Project Worker
Bolton
Salary: £19,894 per annum following a successful 6 months probationary period
Permanent - 37 hours per week
A leading supported housing provider has a great opportunity a Project Worker within their newly commissioned service which is at the heart of Bolton's locality plan. Building on the strengths of individuals, families, partner agencies and communities the organisaton aims to deliver a flexible and innovative asset based approach to reduce and prevent homelessness in Bolton improving outcomes for all.
Working across all Bolton sites, the purpose of the role of Project Worker is to provide cover within the teams of the Bolton Bridges service with the provision of support & housing related support services to our service users, by facilitating the development of their skills and knowledge to enable them to access, secure and retain accommodation and housing into the future.
To be successful in this role as Project Worker you will have knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable and socially excluded people, and have a passion for encouraging and coaching individuals to manage their lives & fulfil their potential. You will also need to possess good written and verbal communication and IT skills; have the ability to maintain accurate records, together with great organisational and time management abilities. You will need a clean driving licence and access to a car for work purposes. Above all, you will be committed to achieving great positive outcomes for clients.
