Community Development Co-ordinator
Applicants are invited to apply for this exciting role; we are looking for the right candidate who is multi-disciplined with excellent experience of working in the voluntary and community sector. Someone who is able to build and nurture collaboration across multiple sectors and manage ‘relationships’ that support the growth of POP+.
Overall Purpose of Job
The purpose of the job is to be POP+ front facing staff member liaising with the communities and organisations (charities, community groups for example) of Plymouth, facilitating collaborations, networks and projects, and linking them strategically to the work of POP+. This is a relationship based function.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Experience of managing community networks and the confidence to liaise with individuals from a large number of Plymouth’s voluntary and community sector.
