Desk Based Account Manager

Taking pride in what they do, they are now seeking to recruit a Desk Based Account Manager topromote and sell their range of market leading products and services along with account managing a range of customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Making regular and planned calls to key decision makers to drive your own sales
• Proactively manage client database information
• Specify products from the portfolio providing technical advice where required
• Have excellent ability to communicate at all levels and be able to build relationships
• Be adaptable with the ability to manage own workload & work towards set targets
• Provide monthly written reports
• Follow a sales plan which supports the business plan
• Attend and represent the company at occasional trade days when required.
  

You will be joining a very successful company at a period of growth and excitement, this position is based in a thriving and fast paced environment, so it's essential that you are pro-active and have excellent communication skills.

Previous experience of working in a sales environment is required for this position. A technical, mechanical or electrical background is an advantage; however, this is not essential as training and coaching will be provided. To be successful, you will have the drive and determination to achieve and deliver outstanding customer service.

In return, our client is offering a salary of GBP18k with commission on top of this, potentially earning up to GBP26k.
