Level 1 IT Service Engineer - Microsoft Environment | Up to 28K Hemel Hempstead 18,000 - 28,000 Negotiable + Company Pension Scheme, Travel allowance45p per mile, Training provided via Company mentoring and training scheme. We are looking for an accomplished Level 1 IT Support Engineer to joinour growing company fulfilling an IT service desk support role. You willneed to have a proven level 1 ability working under pressure and dealingwith customers in a professional, effective and product way. There willalso an opportunity to perform field service and project work if you arethe right candidate. Your growth path could be into Field Service,Project work, L2 / 3 or security dependent totally on your attitude andwork ethic. About You: Ideally you will have completed an information technology universitydegree or equivalent qualification. You need to have experience andproven ability in supporting the desktop and network in an activedirectory environment using software and systems commonly found inbusiness today. You should have relevant Microsoft and othercertifications or be close to achieving these. You will need todemonstrate a good work ethic and ability to swiftly and effectivelydeal with and resolve support needs according to best practice process. This job is a customer facing role with telephone and face to facecustomer contact. As such you need to be presentable, well spoken andhave the ability to follow process under pressure often working closelywith our customers. The engineer is responsible for onsite service andsupport needs for our customers. Support requests relate to alltechnology including workstations, servers, printers, remote working,networks and network devices as well as vendor specific hardware andapplication software. Level 1 IT Service Engineer Requirements: + A degree in information technology or equivalent qualification + Current IT certifications + Demonstrable interest in computers and IT + Driving licence + Motivated to achieve, punctual, presentable, a fluent communicator + Valid UK drivers licence, a car with ability to get business travel insurance + A UK citizen or visa to work in the UK + Proximity to Hemel Hempstead an advantage Interested?
