A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join one of the most established communications companies in the UK. The successful Customer Service Advisor will earn an extremely competitive salary (depending on experience) and be based in Blackburn, Lancashire.

 The company has a 4000 square foot headquarters in Blackburn and currently services the communication needs of over 1000 small and medium sized organizations across the UK. They have over 30 years of experience and always aim to leave their customers totally satisfied. As a Customer Service Advisor, your main responsibility will be the primary point of contact for all inbound customer telephone calls and emails. In addition, the Customer Service Advisor’s duties will include, but not be limited to:
  • Managing faults and requests on behalf of the customer
  • Providing regular and timely communication and progress updates to internal and external customers
  • Owning and being fully accountable for faults and service requests through to final resolution and satisfactory conclusion
  • Retaining a current knowledge of network products and services as well as manufacturer hardware and support
  • Ensuring customer records within CRM are regularly and accurately updated providing a full audit trail of all incidents, faults and service requests

  • Capable of working well independently and under own initiative
  • Able to learn and work well under pressure and to a deadline
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Experience of mobile and fixed line telephony, as well as working on a Service Desk or a B2B environment is ideal
