Business Account Manager (Field Based)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Account Manager to join one of the most established communications companies in the UK. Based in Blackburn, Lancashire, the successful Business Account Manager will earn a basic salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum plus an uncapped commission and a car allowance.

 The company has a 4000 square foot headquarters in Blackburn and currently services the communication needs of over 1000 small and medium sized organizations across the UK. Despite the fact the company was founded over 30 years ago, they are experiencing a period of rapid growth. A new Business Account Manager is needed to help sustain this growth and manage the new accounts which come with it. The successful Business Account Manager’s main responsibility will be developing and managing a portfolio of existing customers, as well as building relationships with them, ensuring that the company is their partner of choice. Additional duties of the Business Account Manager will include, but not be limited to:

• Understanding clients’ businesses to identify improvements the company’s products will deliver
• Winning new business from both new and existing clients
• Maximising every opportunity by selling the Company’s complete portfolio to every client
• Building a sales pipeline so that targets will be exceeded
• Maintaining the company’s CRM system so that details and opportunities are reflected accurately

 To be considered for the role of Business Account Manager you must have demonstrable experience working in the Telecoms industry and have previously exceeded in an Account Management role. In addition, the following key skills and qualifications are desirable:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organisation skills, particularly in the management of multiple customers
• Able to work well under pressure and to a deadline
• Sound and up-to-date knowledge of mobile technology
• Field sales or corporate business account management experience
• Extremely motivated and career driven
• Capable of working well independently and under own initiative

 In addition to a basic salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, the successful Business Account Manager will receive the following bonuses:
