Head of Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement for our team. This is a National role which will include UK travel.

The ideal Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement:

• Working knowledge of Kaisen approach to continuous improvement
• Knowledge of ISO systems
• Strong commercial knowledge
• Proven knowledge of managing quality assurance and control activities on large process of power projects
• Proven experience of leading and managing quality assurance and control activities on large process or power projects
• Experience in both construction and engineering quality activities
• Quality auditing qualification
• Lead Assessor ISO 9001, Lead Assessor ISO 14001, Driving license

Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement Responsibilities include:

• The direction for all quality assurance across the business in establishing the processes and framework for ensuring these standards are met.
• Personally lead the embedding and development of a positive safety culture at all levels across the function.
• Provide direction across the business for all quality assurance and controls across both technical and operational parts of the business.
• Provide independent insight in the level of quality activities across the business including the work of contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Work with the business to build an overall approach that will create a continuous improvement culture developing a knowledge management approach capturing lesson learnt
• Provide in depth and timely reports to the business on relevant KPIs, key risks and issues.
• Co-ordinate with plant operations, business development around the process of audit and peer reviews
