Part Time - 22.2 hours per week

Our client provides a comprehensive range of services to approximately 6,000 homes in North Yorkshire. Established in 1993, the Association has grown both in terms of the number of properties it manages and its awareness of the needs and aspirations of its customers.

They are currently looking for an experienced health and safety professional to join them on a part time basis to cover 22.2 hours per week.

The purpose of the role is to support, implement and monitor health and safety strategies, policies and programmes with the aim of improving the management of construction health & safety throughout the organisation.

Delivering on corporate aims and objectives, you will ensure that key internal and external stakeholders recognise and understand their own contributions towards health and safety performance. You will also maintain our quality management system in line with OHSAS 18001 standards.

The successful candidate will be NEBOSH qualified with a good level of experience in this field. You must be familiar with the health and safety legislation and its impact on construction related activities, and possess a good understanding of CDM and its requirements.

Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential.
