Due to expansion our well known branded client is urgently recruiting a Manual Test Lead to work in Bradford.

The company is increasing investment in technology and quality which has led to this exciting new opportunity within our growing Testing Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for the End to End testing on projects within the client delivery division.

Key Responsibilities

You will be the face of Testing to the customers and clients and therefore you will Support Pre-Sales bids by providing customers with information on the companies Client Delivery approach to Testing and giving them confidence in the businesses testing approach.

Assist in the productions of proposals/bids for new clients and customers, in terms of testing estimations

Test Process

• Own the End to End test management on project- Client Delivery including any testing undertaken by other teams
• Ensure the testing undertaken is of high quality, complies with the internal standards and any deviations are thoroughly justified and communicated to the Test Manager
• Own the production of Test Artefacts including, but not restricted to, Testing Statement of Work, Master Test Plan, End of Test Reports
• Identify and record any lessons learned and thereby feed into the continuous process improvement.
• Contribute to the Testing Community of Practice to improve process efficiency, and drive the innovation of solutions and ways of working
• Work with clients and customers to align our testing processes with theirs ensuring a strong and efficient delivery model
• Manage resources based in different locations around the world ensuring high quality and efficient testing
• Collection and analysis of testing metrics then presenting finding to drive improvements in testing, estimating and ways to reduce cost while delivering high quality.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Appropriate knowledge and experience of testing & project methodologies
• Experience handling multiple simultaneous releases for multiple products/solutions with a track record of on time delivery
• Proven track record of completing projects to specification while dealing with challenges such as cross-team dependencies, changing schedules, and constantly evolving requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in English, and communicate with diplomacy and authority at all levels.
• Hold a qualification in testing from the ISTQB or ISEB
• Experience in Defect Management and appropriate tools
• Demonstrate a capability to manage challenging internal and external stakeholders and clients with professionalism and confidence
• Experience of managing resources in diverse locations in different timeframes
