Job Title: Sales Ledger Administrator

Location: Support Hub, 2 Godwin Street, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD1 2ST

Rate of Pay: Competitive

Hours: 37.5 contracted hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

This role is to work as part of the Treasury & SalesLedger team providing an effective, stream-lined and customer focused service.Ensuring that all income is correctly allocated to customer accounts on atimely basis. To ensure that all cashbook and bank transactions are identified,controlled, accounted for and reconciled in accordance with Anchor policies andprocedures. To ensure that sales invoices are raised, outstanding debtsidentified, and monies due are collected.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of the Sales Ledger & Cashbookfunction and an understanding of the stewardship and control requirements inmanaging cash.

Knowledge of the requirements of internalcontrols and segregation of duties with regards to cash, receivables andpayments.

Knowledge of Anchor policies and procedures forcash, banking, payments, debt and invoicing including the delegation ofauthority.

Skills:

Good communication skills, and computerliteracy

Strong customer focus with a high standard ofservice

A high degree of numeracy, accuracy andattention to detail

Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to reconcile accounts and resolvereconciliation issues.

Ability to critically analyse data and solveproblems.

Experience:

Experience of working in a team in a high volumetransaction processing environment.

Computerised financial systems, and spreadsheetanalysis.

Qualifications:

GCSE Maths and English
