Contract Lawyer for the City of London

My client is looking to recruit a Contract Lawyer for a six to twelve month assignment in their City of London based offices

The role will appeal to candidates with good commercial contracts experience as well as Data Protection experience too.

Responsibilities include:

- Review and negotiation of commercial contracts, including client terms of engagement (e,g, procurement, supplier engagements, risk consulting and other business practices);

- Partnering with business colleagues in the UK and other Regions to roll out Binding Corporate Rules framework (eg work with company secretariat to execute Intra Group Agreements, support the creation of communications content and platform);

- Responding to ad hoc legal and commercial queries from business colleagues, for example in relation to data protection, intellectual property, contractual and strategic issues;

- Supporting the EMEA Head of Privacy in the development and roll out of strategic Privacy Office initiatives, for example relating to the review and development of new policies and procedures to support the GDPR.
