As part of our new Lottery funded project, you’ll be key to helping us to increase our local presence across North and Mid Wales; supporting carers in their local communities and putting them in touch with the advice, information and support that we and local organisations can provide.
This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced organisation to work with and grow a highly committed and motivated team of volunteers. You will work with in liaison with Wales and UK colleagues to help us create stronger, more supportive and resilient communities.
As the UK’s only national membership charity for carers, Carers UK is both a support network and a movement for change. Guided by a Board of Trustees that’s primarily made up of carers, we’re rooted in the real experiences of our members. Carers shape our services and drive our campaigns.
Across the UK there are 6.5 million people caring for a loved one who is older, seriously ill or disabled. This number is set to rise to 9 million by 2037.
