Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now looking for a Clinical Laboratory Analyst to join their team in London on a part time basis.

As a Clinical Laboratory Analyst, you’ll be responsible for performing a range of analytical procedures to support our client’s diagnostic testing activities.
You’ll carry out a variety of tasks, including manual and automated screening methods, covering a wide range of clinical diagnostic tests.
Preparing samples and diagnostic reagents, you’ll maintain and calibrate analytical instrumentation and troubleshoot any technical issues.
Additionally, you’ll interpret analytical data and ensure that all documentation and records are completed, securely stored and archived as required.
Your other duties will involve:
- Analysing and submitting clinical proficiency testing programs
- Ensuring that all quality control checks are completed
- Adhering to custody procedures throughout the analytical process
- Completing Fit for Purpose Assessments for clinical assays
To be considered, you will need:
- A degree level qualification in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology or a Life Science OR
- A degree level qualification in Biomedical Science and a Diploma in Professional Practice
Able to learn and retain information quickly, as a Clinical Laboratory Analyst, you’ll have excellent presentation and communication skills. Superb organisational and time-management abilities are also key.
