Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation which provides high-quality, person-centred support to people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs and dementia. The support we offer is tailored to the individual, and promotes their independence and community engagement.

We are seeking warm, compassionate and proactive Extra Care Seniors to provide person-centered care and support to our services users. You will be based in vibrant Regency Court, Bromley or Sutherland Court, Penge and will assist the Extra Care Registered Manager in the operational management of the relevant service.

You will be expected to collaborate with the Extra Care Registered Manager, Social Services and other stakeholders to ensure that the highest standards of care are provided. You will ensure that the care provided empowers clients and meets their needs. You will also work in conjunction with service users' families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere within the service. The ability to work in an empathic and holistic way in order to maintain orientation and independence of clients is essential. You must be flexible, energetic and reliable. Creative Support employs a diverse team of over 70 well-supported staff in Regency Court and Sutherland Court who deliver exceptional care.

You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including, but not limited to, providing support with personal care and domestic tasks, and supporting individuals to access employment, education, and social opportunities. We value the personal skills and interests you will bring to both the role and to the lives of the people we support. This may include expertise in area such as sport and outdoor pursuits, creative arts, music, and cooking, to name but a few. You will work shifts on the rota working directly with clients.

Previous experience in services for older people and/or people with dementia and memory loss is essential. Your approach will be warm, person centered, and respectful. Previous salary will be taken into consideration if your last job was in a care setting and an additional GBP2000 per annum could be paid for a candidate with extensive experience and additional qualifications.
