Assessor - Early Years - Derby College

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Early Years assessor to join the Early Years Team at Derby College.

You will have recent relevant experience of managing the assessment of a caseload of (predominantly16-18 year old) students, delivering training/assessing for L2 /L3 Early Years programmes largely in the workplace (Early Years Educator, Supporting Teachingand Learning in Schools), and according to awarding body requirements and best practice approaches.

You will be passionate about helping students gain the skills and knowledge needed to qualify and enter the Early Years workforce as exemplary practitioners.

An A1 or equivalent assessor award as well as a L3 Early Years qualification are essential to this role.

The successful applicant will be highly self-motivated, flexible and adaptable and will be able to support, motivate and inspire confidence in others. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are also essential.
