You will be part of a broader team of professionals responsible for providing a high quality, comprehensive and solution–focused service to Ellesmere Port and Neston customers affected by, or expected to be affected by, changes in benefits either due to welfare reform or changes in their circumstances. Maximise their customers’ income and their revenue income also to assist with line management of the Income Team.

This is the perfect role if you:

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of Welfare Reform and a basic understanding of current social housing issues
  • Experience of working within a customer focussed environment
  • Strong evidence of customer focus.
  • Demonstrate strong IT skills
  • Experience of working in a performance culture.
  • Experience of working to key organisational objectives
  • Experience of working both alone and within a team.
  • Experience of working in social housing in a rent / debt collection environment (essential)
  • Experience of writing and presenting reports (desirable)
  • Demonstrate strong negotiating and influencing skills (desirable)
  • ECDL (desirable)
  • Ability to establish effective and productive relationships
  • Experience of project management
