Graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, Westwood Nursery provides 48 places for children aged 6 months to 5 years.
Experience of working in an Early Years setting is essential along with an NVQ Level 3 minimum qualification.
You will need to be a proficient practitioner with excellent communication skills and have extensive understanding of EYFS principles. Ideally, but not essentially, you will also have experience of working with children aged 2-3 years, and be highly motivated, organised and innovative.
You should have the ability to work in a team, to observe, assess and plan as a key person and be able to produce written documentation to support the progress of individual children, being sensitive to their needs.
The appointments will be made subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance being obtained.
This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave expected to be until October 2018.
