INSTRUCTOR OF JOINERY - ONGOING CONTRACT - HULL

A fantastic opportunity has become available at HMP Hull for an Instructor of Joinery.

Your new role
You will be responsible for providing supervision, knowledge and skills to prisoners in a specialist workshop so they can improve their employment prospects on release with a view to reducing re-offending. You will ensure that all services are provided to a high standard and that security and control is maintained at all times. You will be able to teach prisoners towards achieving nationally recognised qualifications and may be supported by external organisations such as local colleges.
Hours: Mon - Thurs (8am - 5pm) & Friday (8am - 1pm)

What you'll need to succeed
You must have or be working towards a level 3 Qualification in Joinery / Carpentry. We are looking for candidates who also ideally have a teaching qualification such as PTTLS or EAT.
You must pass a prison clearance to be considered for this role.
