About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Fire Alarm Technician to join our Plant & Fleet business unit to work in Derby.
What you'll be doing
As, Fire Alarm Technician, you will:
- Carry out planned and organised daily work
- Ensure all work is completed in the allocated month
- Carry out Fire Protection Survey Reports for each job as required
- Provide suggestions for improvement of practices within the Company
- Undertake call outs to fire alarms as and when required
Who we're looking for
You will have:
- A full clean UK driving licence and be able to travel throughout the UK with overnight stay as and when required
- A high level of professionalism and aptitude to manage complaint resolution
- The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- The ability to work on own initiative and within a team
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Full awareness of current technical and safety standards within the fire industry
