Senior Web Developer / Front End Lead

An exciting new opportunity for a skilled Front End Web Developer to take a leadership role in a fast growing and highly innovative SaaS solutions company in Southampton.

The company is an established start-up entering the scaling up phase with significant financial backing and great ambition.

There is a growing demand on UI/UX and front end web technology providing a great opportunity for an established developer to provide leadership and guidance on the future iterations of the companies SaaS solutions.

Along with excellent hands on coding ability you will have the aptitude and experience to lead and mentor a team of talented developers (Python, Node, JavaScript) which scale from 4 to 7 depending on demand and project work. Development leadership will include technology review and evolution, one-to-one reviews, quality management, efficiency and ensuring high levels of performance.

Summary of skills:

  • Strong HTML, CSS & JavaScript programming ability
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React etc)
  • Solid experience of UX
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD (Jenkins or Similar)
  • Excellent communication Skills
  • A great aptitude for team leadership, building and motivating teams and ensuring quality
  • Experience creating SaaS products
