£25,000 to £35,000 dependent on skills, proven ability and experience. Overtime and standby earning potential in excess of £500 per month. Travel remunerated at 45p per business mile travelled Workplace pension

Who we are:

We are a growing Managed Service Business looking for an engineer experienced in the Microsoft server and desktop environment. A good education is a prerequisite. You will need current or recently expired Microsoft Server certifications and a university degree or equivalent qualification.

You will need to demonstrate a detailed understanding of IT theory, have a clean driver's licence with your own transport. A positive attitude and a good work ethic are essential. This job includes overtime and standby work.

In summary you will perform the following work: 

+ Resolve 2nd line service tickets as escalated by the L1 team 
*** Note our definition of 2nd line deals with more than basic technical issues and will be a challenge requiring proven technical ability ***
+ Perform project work as allocated
+ Perform senior field service work

We use ConnectWise, nCentral, Brightgauge, Nagios, StorageCraft, Datto, Webroot and many other support tools. Staff turnover is low, we have a great team spirit and offer flexible working hours.

You will have the opportunity to work with a team experienced in complex networking environments including the NHS N3 network, Microsoft, Cisco and Linux environments and will be able to continually enhance your skills via our training program while gaining experience on the job.
