Estates & Facilities Senior Administrator based in Oswestry, Shropshire offering a salary of £20,066.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Estates & Facilities Senior Administrator to join our Estates team. This role will provide an efficient, pro-active, organised and effective administrative service to the Estates team.
The key role responsibilities for the Estates & Facilities Senior Administrator:
- To develop and continually maintain the Estates asset management database to ensure accurate and true representation of asset status
- To assist in the co-ordination of contractor site visits and activities
- Review and negotiate supplier/maintenance contracts as appropriate.
- Co-ordinate and monitor the effectiveness of our Estates policies and procedures
- Manage and assign help desk requests
- Manage, maintain and update records for buildings, contracts, estates management in both electronic and hard copy formats
- To track compliance with statutory legislation and health and safety requirements
- To undertake general administrative duties
- To maintain health and safety information and databases
- Update records upon completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) routines
- Ensure stock levels within despatch are adequate
- Manage COSHH database
- Ensure an effective risk assessment register is maintained
- Track, collate and record certification associated with equipment test results
The successful Estates & Facilities Senior Administrator will:
- Previous experience of providing a facilities or maintenance service in a busy environment
- Experience of working with contractors/suppliers and monitoring service level standards
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification - A recognised safety qualification would be desirable.
- Understanding of compliance requirements
- Possess a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Positive influencing and excellent communication skills
- Strong written and IT Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- The ability to influence, persuade and direct others
- The ability to work to deadlines and within defined standards.
- Able to work within a team or own your own initiative.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise workload
