The Role


Gordano School is seeking to appoint an experienced and well-qualified Senior Network Technician to work within our I.T. & Technical Resources team as soon as possible. You will provide general technical support to both pupils and staff and will be flexible as the role may be required to work at other schools within the LSP trust. You will provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support and maintenance of the school network and infrastructure and deputise for the IT Manager. Experience of Virtual server environments (VWware/Hyper V) and Windows servers (2008-2016) /desktops (Windows 10/7) are essential. The school has CISCO network switches so experience of this is also highly desirable.

The role will also be the lead for AV (audio visual) support across the school/Trust. You will offer a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
