Part Time FTC – 0.6 hours until July 2018
Our Client has an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Technical and Theatre Production within the Faculty of Arts, Business and Science. This is a part time, fixed term position until July 2018 based at their Hull site, working 21 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Within the role, you will carry out research and scholarly activity, teaching and administration within the faculty, in the area of business management and provide pastoral care and support to students.
The post holder will need to be innovative in their teaching methods. The position requires flexibility, enthusiasm and most importantly a commitment to the student journey. The ability to inspire learners is essential as well as the ability to work as part of a well-established team of professionals.
The successful candidate will have a degree in the relevant subject and also be qualified to Masters Level (or working towards) in the area of a business related discipline. GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths and evidence of commitment to personal development and continuing improvement is essential. A post graduate teaching or education qualification or certificate in education would also be desirable.
Previous experience in the delivery of curriculum and knowledge of current developments in marketing, business enterprise and innovation would be beneficial. We will be looking for successful experience of working in Higher Education in a relevant field/subject with evidence of professional links.
