About the role
We are looking for an experienced Land Access Co-Ordinator to act as the single point of contact for both HS2 Land and Property teams and landowners.
The Role:
- Responsible for checking the consistency between the land access requirements, the physical state of the access and the works to be done
- Collect, group and manage all the land access requirements; ensure that the same land won't be required several times for different surveys that could be carried out at one time
- Where a land access or acquisition is needed out of the limit of the Act, the Land Access Coordinator will instruct all the process with HS2
- Act as the principal contact for the landowners, and be attentive to their queries and complaints as appropriate
- Investigate and confirm that our Land Access requirements are compliant with HS2 Land Access policy and with UK legislation
- Utilise the Land Access Tracker as required to support the survey team in planning and delivery and ensure timeframes are met
- Utilise the Land Acquisition Tracker to monitor progress and support forward planning
- Attend relevant meetings to understand all the mechanism of land acquisition
- Use relevant IT systems, IMS and BIM to manage the land access programme
- Demonstrate the BBV behaviours
- Collaborate relentlessly
- Ensure a relentless focus on Health & Safety
Who we're looking for
- Previous experience in large building/civil engineering infrastructure projects and/or the construction industry and linear projects
- Relevant land access management experience desirable together with up-to-date relevant knowledge of industry best practice
- A valid CSCS card
