A creative arts based higher education institution are looking to recruit a Head of Operations for Development and Alumni Relations, paying GBP45,002- GBP50,306.The institution are about to embark on an exciting new chapter of growth, and planning to launch its first fully comprehensive philanthropic fundraising campaign, to support their long-term vision. In readiness for this exciting new chapter in the College's history, the Development and Alumni Relations team are expanding in a number of key strategic areas, and creating the rare opportunity to join a dynamic team at one of the most unique, inspirational and influential institutions in the world.Reporting to the Deputy Director of Development, the Head of Operations will lead the database, gift administration, prospect research and financial monitoring functions of the department. They will be responsible for the management of the Raiser's Edge fundraising database across the College, and the associated information and systems, and use data to identify, analyse and interpret trends and patterns.The Head of Operations has primary responsibility for gift processing, data integrity, data protection and the execution of various requests and to proactively assist users in determining the most efficient ways to utilise the Raiser's Edge. The post holder is responsible for the monitoring and tracking of the departmental budget against agreed forecasts, working closely with the Director of Development to ensure efficiency and that targets are met.It is essential that applicants have substantial experience in information management and data manipulation and substantial experience in statistical analysis including financial and marketing reports. Candidates must have knowledge at System Administrator level of the Raiser's Edge database and substantial experience of leading and conducting research: retrieving, collating and analysing information from a wide range of sources. Knowledge of UK and US charitable giving and tax law as it applies to individual giving, and of data protection legislation is also required.
