Learning and Development Lead (L&D Lead)

A Learning and Development Lead (L&D Lead) is being sought by nationwide retail company in the midst of a digital transformation programme, paying up to GBP40,000 + benefits based near Northampton.

The Learning and Development Lead (L&D Lead) will work alongside the digital project team and create a training plan and content to support the successful roll out of the business' brand new digital platforms launch. As a Learning and Development Lead (L&D Lead), you will create content for employees across the whole company to understand the functionality and even maintenance of the new digital platforms. You will need to achieve smooth and timely uptake of the digital platforms in and outside of the business, in some instances even deliver the training.

As a Learning and Development Lead (L&D Lead), we look for abilities in:

  • Training needs analysis/design/delivery;
  • Business systems process training;
  • Experience with content creation tools such as (SCORM) authoring tools, video production, animation and image editing;

As a Learning and Development Lead (L&D Lead), typical work will involve:

  • Helping create training materials, exercises and tools for the content management system;
  • Co-ordinating Training Needs analysis;
  • Refreshing of existing PIM's training to accommodate new ways of working;
  • Provision of Train the Trainer materials, tool and course;
  • Assessment of the effectiveness of training, etc.
