Job Title: Human Capital Management Cloud UK Head of Delivery

Community: Business Consulting

Location: UK (with some international travel)

Key Function:

The successful candidate will be highly experienced in successfully delivering cloud HR solutions. (ideally SuccessFactors). HCL prides itself on delivering quality and value to our customers, through our implementation and continuous value support services. This candidate will play a key role in engaging, driving and growing our delivery team, to deliver excellence. You will be responsible for supporting the sale, development and delivery of human capital management cloud projects within our transformation practice.

The role forms part of the delivery management team, and will also provide a best in class service to the Sales and Account Management teams to support selling to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead, engage, and drive the SF delivery team
  • Champions SaaS delivery principles and deployment methods within SuccessFactors and our customer base.
  • Lead the delivery of HCM Cloud projects and support services across our European portfolio of customers
  • Provide key solutions and service support to our customers by elegantly solving complex business problems; taking a key role in defining solutions for new business
  • Defining Project and Programme delivery:
  • Ability to craft implementation service solutions and resourcing.
  • Holistic end-to-end HR business process engineering (not just by software function).
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/Training; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to go to market propositions in this area
  • Develop templates, collateral and contribute to the further development of HCL methodologies
  • Identify and support extended digital opportunities with our customers in key areas such as IoT and Automation.
  • Provide content knowledge as required on other HCL transformation programmes
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience: Required

  • A minimum of 3 years in the HCM cloud technology sector
  • A minimum of 2 years leading and managing HCM Cloud Implementations
  • Experience of working in an HR function or relative HR qualification (desirable)
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Experience at building and maintaining a high-performing SF team
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Experience of working with board level stakeholders is an advantage.
  • Self-starter and an ability to appropriately prioritise and plan complex work in rapidly changing environments.
  • Results oriented with ability to produce products that deliver organisational benefit.
  • Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
  • Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Demonstrate the capability of significantly improving HR services, in complex organisations (across all aspects of people, process and technology)
  • Knowledge and experience of designing and implementing best practice cloud solutions within HR.
  • Demonstrates understanding and experience of transformed HR models, in particular the roles of HRBP, CoE, HRS and Embedded HR
  • Ability to work independently and lead significant pieces of client consulting work
  • Succinct verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Evidence of developing and maintaining relationships at senior level
  • HR technology experience (specifically the self service modules) including the practical issues and challenges of technology enablement within HR functions
  • Outstanding consulting and analytical skills. Data rational, comfortable with metrics
  • Global/multi country experience

Ideally you will also have:

  • Team Leadership in HCM Cloud Professional Services Organisations
  • Experience of HRLT roles and/or Senior experience in other functions
  • Roles in several major transformations
  • Certified SuccessFactors Professional
  • MCIPD or similar
