VP Infrastructure Equity Fund - Fluent German

• Performing Investment origination, due diligence and execution of transactions
• Liaising with lawyers, tax specialists and other experts to facilitate the due diligence process, both internally and externally
• Providing hands-on asset management of portfolio assets including board participation
• Building internal and external relationships with peers and clients across the global platform
• Participating in the management and direction of the Infrastructure Equity business including strategy, product development and leadership of junior members.
• Representing the Infrastructure Equity team to internal (e.g. risk and compliance) and external functions (e.g. investors and clients)
• Sourcing and executing investment opportunities. Managing the execution including research and analysis (including review of due diligence material and financing documentation) of potential investment opportunities and overall responsibility for the preparation, quality management and presentation of investment proposals to the Investment Committee
• Taking day-to-day responsibility for the monitoring and reporting of existing investments; ensuring best practices are implemented in a consistent and rigorous manner across the business
• Performing periodic financial and operating performance analysis including periodic asset valuations
• Co-ordinating / preparing internal and external portfolio communication including Investment Committee papers, asset reviews, client / fund updates and investor materials
• Providing an on-going review of portfolio composition and adherence to agreed portfolio guidelines
• Implementing financial models, pricing and relative value tools
• Providing leadership, mentoring and development to members of the team in the relevant discipline of transaction execution and asset management
• Providing input into setting individual targets and objectives for the team including development plans for the relevant junior staff
• Preparing a personal development plan and undertaking the agreed activities during the plan year
• Remaining informed of key trends and opportunities facing the sector and business and sharing learnings with the remainder of the team
• Participating in conferences and relevant industry functions
• Establishing and managing relationships with infrastructure practitioners including sponsors and professional service providers
• Engaging in fundraising and investor relations

Skills & Qualifications:

• Wide-ranging infrastructure market knowledge evidenced by extensive experience in investing and asset management in infrastructure Equity
• Strong financial competence, preferably gained in an investment banking environment or asset management capacity
• Fiduciary and portfolio management experience (beneficial)
