HGV Class 2 Driver - Avonmouth Ref - I2U

Driving Plus, the on-site HGV driver division of the Staffline Group, are delighted to be appointed as the sole supplier to one of the most prestigious contracts in South West area, and are looking for experienced C licence Class 2 drivers to come and work at their prestigious client's site based in Avonmouth.

As this is 24 hours operation, we are able to offer flexible working hours, either AM or PM shifts, working 5 days a week. The work itself involves national trunking to one of the Retail RDC's and delivering retail products to either store locations, homes or distribution centres throughout the South West, ensuring health and safety is followed at all time. The drivers who are willing to work morning shifts with the starts between 4AM and 7AM will take a priority due to the high demand for these start times. There is minimal manual labour required, if any. Upon completion of our client's assessment you will be rewarded with excellent pay and working conditions, as well as long term ongoing work offering flexible working options and ad hoc odd days to suit. This opportunity requires full time professional drivers with excellent practical skills of driving Class 2 vehicles to the highest of standards, to ensure customer expectations are met.

The pay rates for Ltd Company drivers are as follows:

• Monday and Friday - GBP12.50 per hour
• Saturday - GBP13.50 per hour
• Sunday - GBP14.75 per hour
• Bank Holidays - GBP15.50 per hour

Only drivers with a HGV category C license will qualify, with 12 months previous experience would be desirable. You must have no more than 6 penalty points for driving offences and no driving bans. Employment references covering the last 3 years is required.
