Contracts Manager
LOCATION: Derby
JOB TITLE: Contracts Manager
SALARY & BENEFITS: TBA - Annual Bonus, Company pension and Company car
WORKING HOURS: Full Time (with a certain level of flexibility as required)
THE COMPANY: Our client operates out of modern offices in Sheffield, and has experienced sustained growth, therefore are looking to enhance the Contracts team with the addition of a new Contracts Manager in the Derby area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic forward thinking, design, distribution and installation company specialising in steel floor decking systems throughout the United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities for the Contracts Manager role to include:-
Meeting with clients and planning site operations and start dates, whilst ensuring the client is aware of their responsibilities.
Visiting live sites and ensuring safe systems and good quality of work is being followed as per the method statement and construction Drawings.
Forward planning and organising labour for jobs within your control whilst working with the rest of the team.
THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Contracts Manager you will have good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills. You need to have the ability to work under pressure and you will need to be organised with good recording skills. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Derby but will be covering jobs over the North / West Coast of England.
Key requirements essential for the role of Contracts Manager :-
Full driving licence
A good attitude towards H&S
Good knowledge of safety netting, metal decking and stud welding is desirable
SMSTS is advantageous
CSCS is desirable
Basic IT skills
