An exciting opportunity has arisen for Controllers in our new Abellio Rail Replacement Team, based in the West Midlands. The successful applicants will assist in coordinating and managing day to day rail replacement activities for West Midlands Trains and road transport requirements for Event Connect.

Based within the West Midlands Trains Control Room, the Controllers will arrange road transport at times when the train service is disrupted

Provide Control Room support for Event Connect

Responsible for the quality of our customer-focused response

To provide efficient and effective administrative support including operator compliance, taxi billing reconciliation, job close downs, weekly availability checks to operators and base timetable schedule building

Maintain Major Roadwork Planner and Major Events Diary that may impact on ARR/Event Connect operations

Work effectively with external suppliers and colleagues

Have a duty of care for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues at all times, including a duty to report unsafe acts or omissions to safety
