  • Job Duties
    • Define the digital strategy and lead the ecommerce team to ensure execution of plan and key KPIs.
    • Own the online sales target - maximising sales/conversion and identifying areas for continued channel growth.
    • Lead the Digital Marketing team, to help define market leading digital campaigns and communications that increase awareness, traffic and sales.
    • Implement a market leading SEO strategy to increase natural ranking in SERPs to page one for all key product verticals.
    • Define and implement a best in class, mobile first, digital customer experience that delivers simplicity for customers and maximises engagement and sales.
    • Lead the Web Optimisation team to manage ongoing site optimisation by device, product navigation, and initiate remedial actions to support trading.
    • Define and own web analytics and establish best practice real-time digital tracking and digital insights.
    • Lead the content team to establish a market leading digital content strategy that increases brand visibility in SERPs, brand engagement and social seeding.
    • Lead ecommerce projects as part of L&G digitalisation, working closely with IT to define digital change/business cases, prioritisation and timescales.
    • Own NPS scores for the online GI Direct business and work with the customer experience team to identify areas for customer journey improvement.
    • Work closely with Customer Insights team to continually track digital best practice, competitor activity and market trends to ensure L&G stays ahead of the market
    • Lead optimisation of digital agencies and a GBPmulti-million marketing budget.
    • Management of 10 FTE.
    • Work closely with approvals to ensure that all customer facing communications and propositions are compliant.
  • Skills Required
    • Strong digital/ecommerce experience of operating at a similar level/role.
    • Thorough understanding and proven hands on success of Digital Marketing.
    • Thorough understanding and proven experience of conversion rate optimisation.
    • Proven experience in the creation of digital content strategies and platforms.
    • Experience of delivering a mobile-first eCRM programme.
    • Highly effective communication skills and the ability to couple business goals with customer needs and translate into highly effective digital strategies.
    • Extensive experience of data manipulation and commercial modelling.
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to deliver outcomes.
    • Strong budget, agency and people management skills.
    • Managing and interpreting customer intelligence to enable business improvements.
    • Regulatory environment and delivering positive customer outcomes.
    • The financial services market in the UK.
    • Strategic planning and financial awareness and departmental budget management.
    • Firm, risk, compliance & governance regulations.
    • Group policies and procedures
    • Departmental systems, process an.d procedures, including potential future developments that could impact the business.
    • L&G's people management practices, structures and networks.
