About the role

In this exciting role you will provide support and assistance to the Executive Directors, helping them with projects, presentations and executive meetings as well as being the go to person in their absence. You will be their 'right hand' and will use your commercial acumen and all round skills to maximum effect. You will also manage two secretaries. Your workload will be diverse but here is a typical although not exhaustive list of expected accountabilities:

  • Prepare and edit communications and presentations
  • Conduct independent research to collect and analyse data to support future strategy
  • Build influential and long lasting relationships internally and externally with strategic partners
  • Co ordinate project work often across several business areas and ensure timeliness in completion
  • Ensure the full use of technology solutions are available and explore new options from time to time
  • Gain a clear understanding of our commercial position and help to identify areas of focus for the business

About you

You will be a highly energised and commercially focused individual who can display supreme confidence and competence in dealings across all levels in the company. You will be very comfortable mixing with Executives and have the ability to understand what they will require possibly before they do. Sound familiar? You will have a high level of critical thinking and be used to working in a challenging fast paced environment characterised by budget efficiencies and the need for innovating solutions. In addition, you will be highly organised and a very adept influencer able to solve problems and remain calm (at least outwardly) perhaps whilst others (and you inwardly) are frantic. Lastly, the ability to manage projects and working both autonomously and collaboratively will also be required for success.

We are also looking for you to have the excellent Microsoft Office and Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills you would expect to have for a role like this.

Lastly, if you can speak French then that would be the icing on the cake as we report in to Arval in Paris!
