Lecturer in Sports and Service Enterprises; Sports, Science and Fitness. Part Time (18.5 hours). Permanent.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Sport and Service Enterprises curriculum area for a Lecturer in Sport & Uniformed Public Services. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in Sport Science and the Fitness Industry that will be able to deliver on a range of BTEC Sport and Fitness courses aswell as our Foundation degree in Sport and Exercise Science.

With significant teaching experience and a relevant degree in a Sport related subject, we are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer with a good knowledge of sport coaching and/or strength and conditioning would be desirable.

Candidates will hold a full teaching qualification and have a track record of delivering high quality teaching and learning. You will also hold a Level 3 or equivalent Qualification in a Sport related subject and experience of leading course provision and coordinating IV are preferable, together with the ability to appraise courses using a range of quality and performance indicators. You will also hold a Level 2 minimum in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
