Working within the apprenticeship provision in Stockport, our client is looking for lecturers who can support learners to unleash their full potential and be creative through hands-on learning, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire learners to achieve.

As a Lecturer at the College your key responsibilities will include:

• Maximising learner recruitment, retention and success through the provision of an outstanding educational experience which enable learners to maximise their potential.
• Delivering outstanding courses which meet learner needs through the use of a diverse range of teaching and learning strategies, allowing learners to access a comprehensive range of resources and providing comprehensive assessment opportunities.
• Completing and maintaining effective data in relation to learners including, attendance, individual learner targets, progression, achievement and destination.
• Being responsible for a course/courses of study and learner outcome.

With a Level 4 qualification in Carpentry and Joinery you will have a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths and a Level 5 teaching qualification or a commitment to complete these within 2 years. 

Whilst teaching experience would be advantageous what is more important is your passion for sharing your knowledge and expertise with learners and your determination to develop your career within teaching.
