Manchester based importer and distributor of products to the Retail trade seeks an experienced Key Account Manager to join its Sales Department. This is your chance to join a highly successful organisation that is in a period of growth, in what will be an interesting and varied role.
You will be both office and field based so you should have a full and valid driving licence
Responsibilities within the role will include:
Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular close contact which will include regular face to face meetings, telephone and email communication.
Focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
Co-ordinate the provision of online content within time constraints of product launches.
Answering client queries and identifying new business opportunities.
Visit customers as required.
You should have a proven background in New Business Development and Key Account Management in retail Products. Field Sales experience and the ability to build effective and profitable relationships. Good IT skills and familiar with web based platforms.
You should have a tenacious and positive approach to work with excellent influencing and negotiation skills. We are looking for a confident communicator who has a successful background of meeting/exceeding targets and thrives in a challenging environment with the ability to work independently of others
Salary depending in experience, car, phone and laptop provided.
