Commissioned Services Co-ordinator
1 x Full time position 37 hours and 1 x Part time position of 19 hours
Fixed term contract ends February 2019
Salary: £24,964 - £29,323 per annum Grade 4
Location – Service Headquarters, Calcot, Reading

The role of the Commissioned Services Co-ordinator is to design and develop RBFRS commissioned youth services. This is to support our wider contribution to the promotion of safety, health and wellbeing across Berkshire. The successful applicant will take a lead role within the team carrying out quality assurances as part of co-ordinating and delivering youth services.
The key focus of this role is:
- Be responsible for specific youth commissioned services (e.g. FireBreak, FireFit)
- Work effectively with key partner agencies to promote existing services
- Have a good understanding of the commercial aspects of the role
- Develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate the outcomes of youth programmes
- Write, maintain and update confidential reports on young people in accordance with Data Protection
- Ensure the health and wellbeing of children and young people is maintained at all times through Safeguarding practices
Key role requirements:
- Commercial awareness to be able to develop and promote commissioned services
- Experience of applying for funding bids
- Ability to work with children and young people with challenging behaviours
- Holds and maintains a current EU driving licence
