Training & Development Manager

We are seeking a Training & Development Manager who can drive the development agenda, develop the learning infrastructure and support all of our people to perform at their best. This is an opportunity to build upon the framework that is in place and to deliver against the strategic priorities in our People plan.
Training & Development Manager
Based: WWT HQ - Slimbridge Wetland Centre - commutable from Stroud, Gloucester & Bristol
Salary: GBP35,250 per annum
37.5 Hours per week
Reference: TDM/HQ
The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience and a proven track record in delivering the development framework, engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Ideally you will have experience of working in a multi-site organisation and with a diversity of roles. You will be experienced in creating and delivering innovative development solutions particularly in the field of management and leadership development.
Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT) is a conservation charity that protects wetlands for wildlife and people. For 70 years we have been pioneers in saving threatened wetland wildlife across the globe and are experts in wetland management and creation. We believe that showing people first-hand how extraordinary wetlands are can ignite their passion to help us conserve them, so we provide amazing experiences at our unique UK wetland centres and work with communities living among some of the most vulnerable wetlands in the world to support them to create a sustainable future for wetlands, their wildlife and the people who depend upon them.
