37.5 hours per week - 8.30am to 5pm

Our client are licenced water retailers to businesses and organisations in England and Scotland.  

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team based in Dorking. Duties include chasing up orders, matching invoices to purchase orders, posting transactions to our financial system, paying supplier invoices in a timely manner and scanning documentation. Other responsibilities include reconciling supplier statements to monthly ledger balances, liaising with suppliers, providing cover for other areas of finance as /when required and assisting in the preparation for BACS payment runs.

The Ideal candidate will have worked within a similar role previously, holding a good knowledge of computer based financial systems and having the ability to input data into accounting system quickly and accurately. A calm demeanour, good communications skills and an ability to work unsupervised are also required.

Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook and ideally they’d like you to have knowledge of financial systems such as Navision and RBS Bankline (these are desirable and not essential to the role).
