Youll be at the heart of it. About the role Working in our world-class Research, Design and Development department,youll be part of a team thats always looking to improve what we do andhow we do it. Youll: develop and deliver embedded software and communication protocolsusing agile practices develop tools to support embedded software product development work on our testing and validation strategies maintain and enhance existing software for our products help administer and maintain the supporting infrastructure forsoftware development and integrate software with hardware. About you When it comes to high-level design and abstraction, as well asimplementing, deploying, testing and debugging application code, theresno one better at it than you. A good communicator, youre used toworking in an Agile (Scrum ) environment. Youll also need practicalknowledge of: C and C++ RTOS and/or embedded OS ( FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Linus etc) either WiFi ( 802.11 ), Bluetooth V4.x, ZigBee, 802.15.4, 3GPP or MQTT UML Python, Java and Objective C, and Atlassian development andcollaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence or Stash would be a bonus,but not essential.
