Job Description:

• Arden Personnel are recruiting for a Graphic designer. This is a new role due to growth working within a small team of 15 staff. A fantastic opportunity that will allow you to grow your skills and make the role your own within this exciting industry.

• As the creative Art professional you will be tasked with working on the company magazine which is distributed in the UK and Ireland.

• Your work will comprise cover design, packaging, internal page layout (Both new and restyling) and advertisement.

• In addition to magazine design you will also be expected to play a key part in the magazine photography liasing with the Marketing Manager, Publisher, Communication Manager and Editor.

This role comprises of two separate sets of skills

• On print magazine design and event design/digital media

• Work with the Marketing team to take on graphic design tasks such as: Storyboards, designs, multi-page documents, posters, marketing materials, email newsletters, web pages, social media graphics, infographics, video content and web components

• Creative designs skills with ability to work to deadlines

• Good knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite products such as Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop. Also a good working knowledge of HTML, Mail Chimp, email design and Banner design

To be considered for this Graphic Designer position you must have:

• You must have at least 2 years' experience of working on magazines

• Experience of producing covers, internal page layouts and some e-marketing experience

• InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop experience

• Experience in social media advertising design in beneficial

• Experience in e-marketing with mail chimp is beneficial

• Interest in photography / videography helpful
